It’s official: Google pays no attention to meta keywords

Matt Cutts of Google, and Google itself have now officially announced that they do not use meta keywords at all mostly due to past abuses, and with Google having over 83% of the search engine market share as of October 29, 2009, they are the ones you need to pay attention to. The breakdown:

WordPress.ORG automatic upgrade

WordPress 2.8: coming soon to a blog near you

I dropped into WordPress trac to see the progress on 2.8, which had earlier passed by a release date, and I can’t remember the last time I saw a version with fewer open tickets as a percentage of total tickets. Apparently they are working hard to get everything in and all the known bugs flushed.
